About the Role

An enticing opportunity awaits you to become part of the team of motivated professionals dedicated to serving the client base. In this role, you will focus on the timely and cost-effective completion of Corporate Finance and Forensic assignments, primarily comprising ad hoc projects as directed by the Corporate & Forensic Services Partner. The Corporate Finance and Forensic Executive role is a permanent full-time position in the firm, which is located just outside of London.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Engage in various transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructurings, due diligence, valuations, fund raising, and other special projects.
  • Compile forensic accounting reports, covering areas such as loss quantification, business valuation, and resolution of matrimonial disputes.
  • Conduct research and prepare bid/proposal documents for corporate finance, collaborating with Partners for review.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their expectations.
  • Participate in training courses to stay updated on technical knowledge.
  • Uphold compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with Partners to establish and agree upon assignment budgets, regularly monitoring progress against budget and providing feedback.

Requirements of the Role

  • Currently in the final stages of ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent, or recently qualified.
  • Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) as required.
  • Access to technical research and other training will be available.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and initiative, ensuring clear communication with the Corporate Forensic Services Partner.
  • Grasp the complexities faced by clients, adeptly explaining solutions.
  • Possess analytical and logical skills to understand key client and business issues, interpret financial data, comprehend intricate business models, and generate concise reports.
  • Exhibit technical competence, attention to detail, and relevant experience.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.
  • Stay current with awareness of applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrate professional and ethical skills, upholding integrity consistently.
  • Organized with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficient in IT skills.
  • Capable of handling pressure, occasionally requiring work beyond standard hours.
  • Maintain a flexible, adaptable, and committed attitude.
