About the Role:

The firm is looking for an accounts manager with a strong passion for business and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They should be well-versed in all parts of accounting/tax work, which includes preparing management accounts, managing end to end accounting and tax filings for limited companies. The chosen individual must also be able to manage their own client portfolio, liaise with clients/directors and be able to drive the firm forward into the future.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end accounting, including the production of final sets of financial statements with full disclosures and completing supporting working papers
  • Preparing tax computations (capital gains, VAT, individual & corporate)
  • Advise clients on tax matters and articulate services delivered in a clear manner
  • Manage a team of seniors/semi-seniors/juniors
  • Deliver service level agreements to the client and receive a strong client satisfaction score
  • Liaise with account directors/partners to deliver the scope of services and increase value from clients

 

Requirements:

  • Must be either ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience using accountancy software including Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS
  • A passion for technology within accounting
