About the Role:

They are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join the busy and expanding Corporate Team as an Audit Semi Senior or Senior. The position mainly involves undertaking audit and assurance work on behalf of clients, but it can also involve accounts preparation and tax computations. The company works with many of the most exciting and rapidly growing small and medium-sized companies. Responsibilities:

  • Organizing audit engagements and leading onsite teams (80% of role)
  • Aid with larger audits, dealing with allocation sections and helping with conclusions
  • Accounts preparation and drafting tax computations (20% of role)
  • Working with clients to deal with issues, and escalating more difficult matters to assignment lead
  • Examining team members' work before passing finished file to leader of assignment
  • Training juniors and offering feedback on the quality of their work and performance
  • Managing assignment time in line with pre-determined budget

 

Requirements

  • Full or part qualified in either ACA, ICAS, CA or ACCA
  • Fairly significant knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Exposure in client facing duties
  • Some experience utilising audit software, especially Caseware and Microsoft packages
