About the Role:

They are looking for an initiative-taking and skilled individual to join the fast-growing team as an Audit Senior. The chosen individual must be creative, be independent and highly confident. They will be able to build relationships with clients and management, as well as meeting extremely strict deadlines. The client base is truly diverse covering property, construction, professional services, insurance, and retail.

Responsibilities:

  • Be positive, independent, and progressive at all times
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be confident to liaise and build relationships with clients and key personnel
  • Approach your work commercially, allowing you to meet deadlines and budgets, multitask and work accurately
  • Be a good collaborator, self-motivated and able to motivate other members of the team
  • Can work well under pressure, use initiative, and possess good organisation skills
  • Can manage and add value to the firm’s business relationships
  • Able to identify and develop new business opportunities or build and develop new opportunities for business development
  • Must be IT literate and a working knowledge of the following software would be ideal:
    • o CCH
    • o CaseWare
    • o Xero
    • o Word, Excel and Outlook and Teams

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years practice experience, ideally within a medium sized practice
  • Possess a working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards
  • Has good knowledge of FRS102 and FRS102A
  • Is either ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Ideally a 70-75% audit, 25-30% accounts split of work currently being conducted but not mandatory
  • Some experience in leading audit and non-audit assignments, from planning to completion
  • Complex/group audit experience is preferred
  • Able to delegate and supervise team members on audit assignments
  • Record of delivering results and meeting client/Partner/Manager expectations
