About the Role:

They are looking for a driven and capable individual to enter the quickly expanding Accounts Audit department as a Senior Client Advisor. The chosen individual must be able to think freely, be independent and be confident. They will be able to create lasting relationships with clients as well as management and should be able to meet very strict deadlines. The client base will be highly diverse, and the job role split is 70% Accounts and 30% Audit.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts (FRS 102 1A) for Limited Companies and LLPs, to be reviewed directly by a director
  • Prepare and submit corporation tax returns, which will be reviewed by the Tax Department
  • Lead audits from planning to completion
  • Review work carried out by semi seniors
  • Manage a portfolio
  • Communicate directly with clients
  • Assist clients with their queries and accounts software
  • Train clients on key aspects of Cloud software
  • Provide on the job training of junior members of staff

 

Requirements

  • Must be ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Possess accountancy practice experience
  • Be able to lead audits
  • Can work from incomplete records or computerised TBs
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional commercial awareness
  • Substantial audit experience
  • Experience with CCH Accounts Production & CCH Corporation Tax software
  • Understanding of Xero Accountancy Software, Pro-Audit Software & Virtual Cabinet
